I'm a huge fan of limited government for two reasons: I think that the expansion of goverment corresponds with an erosion of liberty, and I think government generally does things less efficiently than the free market. This blog is so titled because I think we all view the world through our own lens. Seeing the world from someone else's view both educates us and results in our own viewpoint being less clouded by our own bias.

Great point - we shouldn't be concerned with the environment at all. I am sure all those damn hippies are just crazy anyway. Just look at the gulf coast! No real problems there - just a bunch of media hype. We sure as heck don't need any government protecting us from that kind of stuff - we are just fine on our own! Clearly industry does a great job of policing themselves... Stupid scientists, what the heck do they know anyway? God will protect us!
